What does it take to plan a trip?
Planning any vacation takes extensive time and effort before the departure date ever arrives. We have a rate structure to assist with the time spent covering the initial consultation, research, and proposal. These service fees are separate for our time, and not applied to the trip cost. This is similar to a retainer fee that a lawyer, accountant, doctor, or any other professional charges so that they are compensated for their time during the consultation (even if they do not continue working with you). We are with you before, during, and after the trip for questions or if any problems arise.

Non-refundable service fee per trip for stand-alone or packaged deals
*If a trip consists of several components, the fee doesn’t multiply. It is a fee per trip per person. i.e. If you want to go on a cruise with a pre-sailing hotel and flights, the total fee would be the highest one – $75/person.
Professional Fee
Our non-refundable professional fee for customized trips varies. It starts at $300 per trip and goes up depending on how many people, the length of the trip, and how much time and research will go into the designing of the trip from scratch. Customized trips are the best way to travel. We listen to your needs during the consultation call and design your trip from scratch. We handpick hotels, transfers, flights, excursions, etc. We use many different suppliers and a significant amount of time and project management skills goes into putting it all together, per your needs/preferences. We include in this price a free electronic itinerary and app that has a messenger, city guides (that otherwise would be subscription-based only), and flight notifications/reminders. This enhances your experience ten-fold. Our clients have given this feature raving reviews and any standard trip (all-inclusive or cruise etc) has the option to be customized by paying more to include the app and all of its features.
We will advise you of our fee for any customized trip after the consultation call. We will send you the fee agreement to review and sign before researching the trip. After the research, we send you a proposal with our best recommendations (keeping all your travel preferences in mind).
Trip protection is highly recommended in case you need to cancel. Vendors have their own cancellation and change policies/fees which will appear on your invoice. Ever Ready Travel has you review and electronically sign the Terms & Conditions prior to making any payment or commitment. Our cancellation fees are 15% of the total being cancelled and $50/person to make any changes.
Know that as your Travel Consultants, we are a valuable asset, and, hence, we charge a service fee for our time, expertise, experience, support, and advocacy for you.
