7 Places to Visit If You Love Being Warm (And Hate The Cold)

Winter is in full swing and you know what that means–everyone is dreaming about summer. Laying on a warm, sandy beach sipping an ice-cold cocktail. Spending days frolicking in crystal clear blue waters. Trading in parkas for bathing suits. It all sounds pretty perfect right about now as we await the next big snowstorm.
There are, in fact, some places around the world that never get cold. If you’re craving an escape from the bitter cold, check out these destinations to help warm your hands (and your heart).

Paros, Greece

Best known for its beautiful beaches, Paros is a gorgeous Greek island located in the Aegean Sea. The coolest weather is generally in January and February, but temps still stay in the mid-upper 50s, making it perfectly acceptable to visit year-round. Take a trip in July or August for prime heat and sunshine!

Belize

Some like it hot, and those who do will love visiting Belize! The temperatures here generally stay between 70 and 88 degrees throughout the year. Occasionally, they’ll dip below 70 or rise above 90, but it’s certainly not something to worry about! The best time to visit is between January and April, but when the weather is this good, there’s truly no bad time to visit.

Oahu, Hawaii

Hawaii really only abides by two seasons: Summer and Winter. However, their Winter isn’t exactly cold, (unless you consider lows in the mid-60s cold, in which case, see above for Belize and hotter temps!). No matter the time of year, you’ll enjoy temperatures in the upper-70s to mid-80s. Oahu is an ideal choice because it is home to Honolulu and Waikiki Beach!

Bahamas

Temperatures in the Bahamas rarely dip below the 60 degree mark–ideal for warm-weather lovers! Their year is split into a wet season (June-October) and a drier season (November-May). With the average temperature sitting somewhere between 66 degrees and 90 degrees year-round, it’s always a good time to visit the Bahamas!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Peak travel time to Puerto Vallarta is December through May, when it’s less rainy and still warm. Temperatures hover around 80 degrees, with lows in the low-60s. June through November is the rainy season, when temperatures rise to around 90 degrees on average. Still, Puerto Vallarta is a vibrant resort town with incredible nightlife–and great weather!

Fiji

The tropical climate of Fiji makes for a perfect vacation any time of year. With temperatures sitting in the 80s regardless of the month, you’re just left to decide if you’d rather visit during the dry season or rainy season. Keep in mind: Winter in Fiji is July and August, and Summer is December and January!

Galapagos Islands

Ecuador consistently ranks among the best places for retirees to relocate! This is not only because of the warm weather, but also due to its position on the equator resulting in 12 hours of daily sunlight! On average, the coastal part of the country hovers around 77 degrees. The Galapagos Islands in particular have an average temperature of around 80 degrees, making it a perfect warm-weather destination!
